The median price from the Dothan MLS for the first quarter was just over $134,000, up from around $128,000 in the 4th quarter of 2007. From a peak in the third quarter of 2006, the median price of homes sold in Dothan is down 8.6%.

A cold front that killed thousands of livestock swept through northwest China, bringing sandstorms, snow and bitter cold to the region. The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region experienced Siberian-like temperatures of at least 70 below zero, though forecasts predicated a warming trend, China's official Xinhua news agency reported Tuesday.

You've may have seen the food pyramid that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) put together and distributes, suggesting their view of a healthy diet. After decades of encouraging people to eat lots of meat and dairy, the USDA now recommends greatly limiting consumption of both.
